The Holy Ghost (Spirit) in Action - Scene 3

Greetings! In this week scripture (Act 2:43-47), we are once again seeing the working of the Holy Spirit after the Day of Pentecost. Dr. Luke recorded that this radiating, pulsating, animating power of the Holy Ghost created such stir in Jerusalem and it's environ that:

  1. Fear came upon on every soul
  2. Many wonders and signs were done by the Apostles
  3. All that believed were together
  4. All that believed had all things in common
  5. The Believers sold their possession and goods
  6. The Believers gave to all that had need
  7. The Believers continued daily with one accord in the temple
  8. The Believers broke bread and went from house to house with gladness and sincere hearts
  9. The Believers praised God, and enjoyed favour of all the people
The above attributes that were recorded in this lesson could only be achieved by the power of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God in Action. No other force or powers could have had such dramatic effect on the people, when they willingly submitted to the divine plan of God. These same attributes that affected those in AD 33 are possible still and available to all those who believe and trust the God of all creation. It was His spirit in action that caused the changes in the lives then, and it is the same Spirit in Action TODAY that will and can affect the lives of all mankind.

The Bible says in Act 2: 47, that the Spirit in Action, enlisted and converted new members to the church on a daily basis as such that should be saved (delivered from sins). I am convinced that any other methods that are used to get people to become members of this Apostolic doctrine will ultimately fail. Only the Spirit of God in Action can radically and instantly change the lives of people who are hooked on sin and moral failures. All other mediums, such as music, dancing, drugs, hypnosis, chanting, and entertainment will NOT cause the change in the heart of mankind. Only the power of the Spirit of God in Action can transform lives from wicked and deceptive practices into true believers of Jesus Christ. This same uncompromising message of repentance (turn of heart) is being preached at Meadowvale East Apostolic Church, just like Peter did on the Day of Pentecost.

Everyone is welcome to experience this gift of the Holy Ghost, through believing the words of the Lord that leads to repentance and baptism in Jesus Name.
