The Holy Ghost (Spirit) in Action - Scene 2
Greetings! In continuation of our series, on the "Action of the Holy Ghost", the scene changes slightly in Acts 2: 14-36, as the manifestation of the Spirit moved from the upper room to the environs of Jerusalem. The 120 disciples and others who have never seen or received such spectacular anointing of the Holy Ghost, which fell upon them and created a huge noise in Jerusalem that could not be contained in the Upper Room. Dr. Luke recorded that the multitude in Jerusalem came together and were confounded because they have never witnessed anything like this before on their solemn Pentecost Feast Day.
The action of the Holy Spirit upon the lives the disciples created amazement and phenomenal works that astounded the Jews from every nation, because the Spirit not only moved with power, but spoke in 17 languages (or dialect) that they understood from the different cities and regions that were in Jerusalem in AD 33.
The Bible says when these gathered Jews heard the languages spoken by the anointed disciples, that were amazed and in doubt, and some said, that the 120 were drunk with new wine, and others saith, what meaneth this? The scene changed quickly, and the action continued with Peter now the focus of the next scene. The Spirit in Action took control of Peter and he stood-up and the other eleven Apostles in unison stood up with him and the Apostle Peter lifted his voice and spoke forth with clarity and authority on the stage of time the following declarations!!
The Bible records that when they heard these declarations of Peter, their were cut to the heart, and asked him and the other Apostles, Men and brothers, what shall we do? Peter gave the clear and unmistakably correct answer, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all who are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
The Spirit of God in Action affected them that the Bible records three thousand accepted baptism in the name of Jesus Christ in one day, and they continued steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine and in fellowship and breaking of bread and in prayers.
The same Holy Ghost in Action, that was in AD 33 is being experienced now! Visit Meadowvale East Apostolic Church for a taste of this heavenly experience NOW!

- We are not drunken as you suppose
- This is just the 3rd hour of the day (or 9:00 a.m.)
- This is the fulfilment of the Prophecy Joel;
- It shall come to pass
- I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh
- Your sons and daughters shall prophesy
- Your young men shall see visions
- Your old men shall dream dreams
- And on my servants and my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit and they shall prophesy
- And I will show wonders in heavens above
- And signs in the earth beneath; blood and fire and vapour of smoke
- The sun shall be turned into blood before that great and notable day of the Lord come
- And it shall come to pass that whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
